Sacred Ember Kitchen is run by Sam Parker, Yeovil, Somerset. Contact: sam@sacred-ember.kitchen.

What we collect

When you use the booking form we collect your name, phone number, email, postcode, household size, dietary needs and anything you type in the notes. That's it.

Why

To call you back, plan your menu safely (allergies), and confirm you're in the area we cover. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering a contract.

Where it goes

Straight to Sam's email inbox. Nowhere else. We don't sell, share or add you to lists you didn't ask for. If you tick the menu email box, your address goes to our email provider (MailerLite) and you can unsubscribe with one click.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become bookings are deleted after [6 months]. Client records (menus, allergies) are kept while you're a client and for [12 months] after, then deleted.

Cookies

None for tracking. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and records no personal data.

Your rights

Ask to see, correct or delete your details at any time — email Sam. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Allergens

Sam cooks in your kitchen with ingredients bought for you. Every allergy and intolerance you tell us about on the intro call is written into your menu and every container is labelled. Because food is prepared in a home kitchen, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment — if you have a severe allergy, please tell Sam so he can talk you through what's practical.

The 14 regulated allergens: celery, cereals containing gluten, crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, nuts, peanuts, sesame, soya, sulphites.
